Apply to visit TUFTS University!

Apply for a scholarship to visit TUFTS University, in Massachusetts, in October. Out-of-state campuses are looking to enhance their campus by increasing diversity. If the student is willing to apply out-of-state, I would highly encourage them to apply to these programs. Please encourage them to take advantage of these opportunities if eligible.

Tufts University is presenting a special opportunity for high school seniors. The Voices of Tufts Diversity Experiences are overnight fly-in programs for prospective applicants to learn about Tufts by interacting with current students, staff, and faculty.  (Website to Tufts to research the university: https://www.tufts.edu/)

While on campus, Voices participants stay with a current undergraduate, eat in the dining halls, sample our academic offerings, and meet with the Admissions staff. All meals are provided during their stay and there is travel assistance available to students for whom the trip would present financial difficulty.

Voices attracts many students from underrepresented backgrounds - including but not limited to students of color, first generation college-bound students, LGBT students, students from low-income backgrounds and students from rural communities.

For the fall of 2019, students may choose to apply to one of two programs:
Engineering Experience || October 17-18, 2019
For students interested in exploring engineering disciplines
Deadline to apply: October 1, 2019 by 2:00pm

Arts and Sciences Experience || October 24-25, 2019
For students interested in the study of the liberal arts and sciences
Deadline to apply:  October 8, 2019 by 2:00pm

To apply, go to http://admissions.tufts.edu/voices. The application will ask for a short essay about their reasons for applying, a recent high school transcript, and a letter of support from their school counselor.
