This semester begins with the movement westward after the Civil War and ends with the present day. This includes such significant periods as the Gilded Age, the Progressive Era, World War 1, the Great Depression, World War 2, the Cold War, the Civil Rights Movement, the Vietnam War, Watergate, Reaganomics, and the age of Terror.
