Regular United States History (RUSH) (Period 4)

Course Description

This class examines the history of the United States with an emphasis on Modern United States History.
 
The Fall Semester included study of the Founding of the United States (Unit 1), The Civil War and Reconstruction (Unit 2), The Second Industrial Revolution (Unit 3) and Imperialism, Progressive Era, and World War 1 (Unit 4).
 
The Spring Semester includes study of the Interwar years between WW1 and WW2 (Unit 5), World War 2 and the Cold War (Unit 6), the Civil Rights Movement and the presidencies of Kennedy, Johnson, and Nixon (Unit 7), and the United States from 1980 to today (Unit 8).
