Integrated Dual Enrollment with LA City College

We’re Alliance Leichtman Levine, the number one high school in Northeast Los Angeles, and we are located at the historic Van de Kamp Innovation Campus - a Los Angeles Community College satellite campus.

We are committed to providing an exceptional educational experience that nurtures creativity, critical thinking, and personal growth. Our dedicated faculty and staff work hard to create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment for all students. We students for careers in computer science, health, or the arts while giving them the opportunity to make connections, explore their interests and build their leadership skills. Our unique approach incorporates community college courses into the school day, so that students can earn college credits for free, in a highly supportive and nurturing environment.

We are a community oriented school where teachers, staff, college counselors, and administrators want to get to know each student on a personal level so that we can support you and help you grow. Starting in the 2024-25 school year, all 9th graders will take 2 college classes during the school day.

All of our scholars will also have the opportunity to graduate with both a high school diploma and a certificate from LACC signaling that they have taken a sequence of college courses focused on either computer science, health, or art. Students can also choose to focus on completing their general education coursework - so they can enter college as a sophomore or even as a junior, saving significant amounts of time and money.

Most importantly, by taking your college classes in high school you will have access to support from our counselors, after-school tutoring, and more. And, because your courses and all materials you need for them are free to you, it will significantly cut down on your college expenses because you can complete 1-2 years worth of courses while you’re still in high school.
